Normani Goes Instagram Official With Seattle Seahawks Player DK Metcalf
It’s time to put the rumors to rest. Normani and DK Metcalf are dating!
According to PopSugar, the "Wild Side'' singer and her new professional football player boyfriend went Instagram official over the weekend in their IG Stories. The shared post featured a sexy photo of them at the wedding of Metcalf's Seahawks teammate Tyler Lockett.
Metcalf places a sweet kiss on his girlfriend's cheek in the photo. Normani flashes a sweet smile while her eyes are closed as both arms are wrapped around each other.
The newly minted couple looked dazzling at the wedding. The Fifth Harmony alum donned a classic black gown with a sheer bodice while rocking a half-up half-down hairstyle. On the other hand, her beau put his swag on the black-tie event. The 6'4, 236 lbs wide receiver paired a black tuxedo jacket, white dress shirt, and a bow tie with matching shorts. To top the look off, he opted for a pair of crisp white sneakers and white crew socks.
Teammate Russell Wilson –who also attended the nuptials– posted a photo of him with the groom and Metcalf on Twitter. He wrote, "Congrats King!". He added, "May Jesus Bless your Marriage forever!🙏🏾🙌🏾♾." Wilson also posted a video of Normani and Metcalf to social media that he captured them dancing together at the wedding, which has been reshared by a fan of Normani stan account.
Dating rumors were first sparked about the couple in June when they were seen dining together in Los Angeles.
Throughout her career, Normani has kept a low profile in her dating life. In 2018, she opened up to Rolling Stone on what matters to her when developing new love interests. "I feel like I'm the one that kind of lays back," she explained. "I like to read people and try to figure out their intentions first, even though you can never really be too sure. I think it's important for women to protect their hearts, protect themselves, because when we fall, we definitely fall. Which is a really beautiful thing — but it should only be received by someone very special."
