DJ Khaled Is Suing The Hell Out Of Someone Who Tried To Take Advantage Of His Son
DJ Khaled may be a very positive person on Snapchat and in-person, but don’t get it twisted: you play with his money or his son, he’ll come for you.
That’s what a company found out recently. TMZ is reporting that the producer filed a lawsuit against Curtis Bordenave and his company, Business Consulting. Apparently, they were using his brands and son’s name without his permission.
Khaled is accusing Bordenave of filing trademarks for “We The Best Lifestyle,” “Asahd Couture,” and “Asahd.” He’s also claiming that the company has already produced clothes with his son’s name on them which he says “caused confusion for customers and unfair profits for Curtis."
The We The Best label head further claims that he’s been creating his own business called Haddad Brands and that Bordenave has even attempted to stop the company from using anything related to Asahd’s name. Apparently, the same company has attempted to trademark “Cardi B,” “Stormi Courture,” and “Cynthia Bailey Eyewear.”
Unbelievable. We’ll keep you updated on this lawsuit as it progresses.
