Kim Kardashian Threw Kanye West Under The Bus After Being Called A 'Pawn,' And Twitter Is Screaming

The reality star had a Mr. Krabs moment.

It appears as Kim Kardshian-West, the woman who boldly dubbed that she "will always ride for her man," had a slip-up when asked a question that she clearly didn't see coming.

Her method of escape: blame Kanye!

During a recent sit-down interview with CNN's Van Jones, Kardashian-West made it abundantly clear that it was her problematic rapper husband who started this whole debacle with Trump — not her.

The couple has been making headlines recently in regards to their respective dealings with the current president of the United States. The reality star recently helped facilitate the pardoning of Alice Marie Johnson, and her husband likely just stirred things up because he's missing a screw or two and, as some would conclude, wanted to cause controversy to feed his own narcissism.

Kardashian-West sat down with Jones shortly following the victory of Johnson's pardoning to discuss her time with Trump and how some may view her as a "pawn" in the reality star-turned-politician's master plan. Specifically, when asked if she believes she has given Trump "legitimacy" by speaking with him, and, furthermore, whether he may use her as a "political pawn" in the future, her response was interesting.

"I think Kanye's already given him legitimacy, you know, in that way," she said after getting tongue-tied for a few seconds.

Take a look at the clip, below:

  • Her comments were made in reference to her husband's pro-Trump rant, which resulted in several members of the public canceling him for good.

Shifting gears back to the narrative surrounding her meeting with Trump, she added, "At the end of the day, he heard me out. We got the job done, so I don't think... What could he really use me for?"

Needless to say, her Kanye comment became the viral star of the interview, with Twitter having a field day with her response:
