Alleged Murderers of DJ Megatron Plead Not Guilty
The two men charged with the shooting of the 106 & Park personality have pleaded not guilty.
Last week, William Williams, 21, and Richard Cromwell, 20, were arrested and charged with the shooting death of DJ Megatron. Despite NYPD's insistence that the men confessed in an interrogation that took place on March 27, the two men have pleaded not guilty to the murder.
Corey "DJ Megatron" McGriff was shot and killed on an early Sunday morning in March during a robbery attempt in his hometown of Staten Island. According to allhiphop.com, prosecutors say they have surveillance footage of the robbery attempt. Apparently Megatron was killed for his watch and cell phone.
The two men accused appeared in court last week shortly after they were arrested. They are due back on April 19.
