Serena Williams Talks Finding Balance And Having More Children In The Future: ‘I Want To Be The Best Mom’
Serena Williams is open to the idea of having more children in the future. While chatting with Entertainment Tonight, the 40-year-old tennis champ spoke about her busy lifestyle, including her thoughts on expanding her family with husband Alexis Ohanian.
“It is a balancing act and some days it's harder than the others,” Serena shares about her hectic schedule as a tennis pro, investor, entrepreneur, wife, and mom to 4-year-old daughter Olympia. “I want to be able to spend time and I like to be good at things."
She continued, “I want to be the best mom.”
While the multi-talented star admits there are days when she feels overwhelmed, her mindset is simple: “Figure it out and just make it work.”
On the topic of parenting, when asked if she had any thoughts about having more children, the creator of S by Serena revealed that it’s in the plan, once she finds balance.
“I definitely want to have more kids, it's just like, balance is key, you know, and just trying to find that balance,” she explained. “I don't know, it's always like, OK, are we ready? And I know the clock is ticking so I'm just like OK, I need to figure out when that's going to be, but hopefully soon when I will feel no pressure.”
