Khloe Kardashian’s Ex-Husband Lamar Odom Reacts To Tristan Thompson Admitting To Fathering Another Child
On Jan. 4, Tristan Thompson was trending after admitting to fathering a child with former personal trainer Maralee Nichols. The baby boy, whose name is not public, was born in early December. Thompson apologized to Khloe Kardashian, 37, and now her ex-husband, Lamar Odom, is reacting.
Odom wrote in a Facebook comment, “I truly wish nothing but the best for her and I’m hoping we can reconnect and talk one day as friends. She is a good person and deserves the world.”
Odom and Kardashian, who married in 2009, finalized their divorce in December of 2016. However, as recently as July, Odom admitted he still loves Khloe and would get back with her.
In case you missed it,Thompson, 30, apologized to Khloe for fathering a child with 31-year-old Maralee Nichols. The 33-year-old Sacramento Kings forward issued a statement, which read, “Khloé, you don't deserve this. You don't deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don't deserve the way I have treated you over the years. My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you. I have the utmost respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry."
In a statement to PEOPLE, Nichols’ rep said, "There was never any doubt that Tristan Thompson was the father of Maralee Nichol's baby. Tristan made numerous false and defamatory statements and declarations about Maralee over the past few months, and she is taking his contrite statement today in the context of all of those statements.”
His ex, Khloe Kardashian, who is the mother of 3-year-old daughter True, has not spoken out.
Tristan Thompson also has a 5-year-old son named Prince with ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig.
