Method Man’s Daughter Releases New Music
Wu-Tang Clan member Method Man is one of the most heralded rappers of his generation and his daughter is poised to carry on the family’s legacy in hip-hop.
“Johnny Blaze’s” daughter Cheyenne, who goes by Chey, is showing that elite rap skills run in the family with the release of her new songs.
In January, she dropped “Hair and Nails” and her latest song, “Boujee & Ghetto,” has amassed almost 50,000 views in the first week of its release on YouTube.
In a recent interview with Shaoliiin Entertainment, Chey spoke about the importance of putting in the work and honing her skills as a rapper, although she comes hip hop royalty.
“A lot of people would say [that he could just make a call and put me on], but at the end of the day, you gotta put in the work,” Chey said.
“He could do that but he rather see me work for it and really push but he’s gonna support one thousand gajillion trillion percent. But he wants to see the work too,” she continued.
While no official date had been released for Chey’s official debut project, you can be sure that Meth will be proud of his daughter for following in his footsteps.
