Carmelo Anthony Lied About His Age to Win Over LaLa

The basketball player told his future wife he was 21, not 19, when they met.

What's a LWL (little white lie) when it comes to pursuing the woman of your dreams? Carmelo Anthony didn't see anything wrong with fibbing when it came to wooing his wife, LaLa Anthony, back when they first started dating, reports Page Six.
La, who is four years older than her basketball player hubby, revealed to friends on TV Guide Network's Hollywood Moms Night that Melo told her he was 21 when they first met, when in fact, “he was actually just 19!”
The TV personality and mom also recounts that Anthony had first seen her on TV and tracked her down in order to pursue her.
Luckily, age turned out to be nothing but a number for the happy couple, who got engaged in 2004, married in 2010 and have a four-year-old son, Kiyan.
