Dwayne Johnson Steals Kim Kardashian's Thunder, Breaks World Selfie Record
Look out, Internet: there's a new Selfie King in town. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson snatched the title right out from under Kim Kardashian's nose when he set the world record for the most self portraits taken in three minutes.
The Rock clocked in at 105 snaps at the London premiere of San Andreas, and was even awarded a plaque from Guinness World Records for the feat. A Guinness World Records adjudicator was reportedly on hand to ensure that “selfie rules were followed.” The full face and neck of participants had to be visible in all the shots, with “no blurring.”
Johnson posted an awesome fast motion video to Instagram of the selfies taking place, with the caption, “We just set a NEW GUINNESS WORLD RECORD for most self-portraits (selfies) taken in record time (yup, a selfie world record exists and your arm gets a helluva workout).”
Good thing he has the muscles for it!
