This Person Wants R. Kelly To Commit Suicide, And The Internet Is Divided

"I'm sickened by R. Kelly, who is an alleged serial child predator who has no place in society."

Amid the airing of the Surviving R. Kelly docu-series, the 52-year-old crooner has rightfully been submerged under a scorching wave of backlash. With R. Kelly's “sex cult” still remaining active as of last year when the documentary was filmed, fans against the Pied Piper and his disturbing crimes have banned together for #MuteRKelly, round two. Thus far, John Legend, Meek Mill, Jojo, 6lack and more have bravely spoken out in support of the survivors. However, many more would like to see Robert serving time for the crimes he’s committed.

FUBU founder Daymond John took to Twitter to unleash fiery wrath against R. Kelly. The Shark Tank investor wants the Chicago native to kill himself, but not without a few stipulations. Daymond penned, “I am so sick to my damn stomach! Hey @rkelly, please don’t take your life now that we all know how f**king disgusting you are. That's way too easy!”

  • “Make amends [...] serve your time and then kill yourself,” he harshly continued

According to the Brooklyn mogul, the punishment should definitely fit the crime. Daymond also feels Robert used a majority of his wealth to cover his tracks. In light of his strong sentiment, he received some flak, but most praised him for being outspoken.

  • Daymond, however, continued to stand by his statement and responded, "I'm good with what I said."

  • Some felt he took it too far by mentioning suicide and he clarified his stance with TMZ

"I figured that [after the sex tape], he got off lucky, and would go and seek help, but after seeing the episodes and seeing the premeditated things that he did, and seeing the systems he set up around him to calculate and execute this daily [...] it's just overwhelming."

  • He followed up on twitter, apologizing for his insensitivity.

  • These conversations surrounding the stories in Surviving R. Kelly have been very triggering. Please seek help, as needed.
