Cassie Posts Message To Nipsey Hussle In Light Of Lauren London’s Tribute
Among the outpouring of support and love for Lauren London, Cassie, R&B songstress and Lauren’s close friend, has penned a touching tribute of loving words to the late hip-hop star and ATL actress.
Her message follows London’s tribute to her longtime love and father of her youngest son, Kross, where she devastatingly shared that she’s simply lost after losing him. “Thank you for loving my sister the way you did,” Cassie began in her message to the Victory Lap rapper. “Thankful that I was able to witness that legendary love.”
Cassie continued her devotion to Nipsey, thanking him for giving London “the most beautiful son,” and vowing to keep his memory alive. “We will always see you,” she wrote. “I know that you will continued to protect her and love her unconditionally. We will never be you, but I can promise we will ALWAYS be here for her.” She finished the message off with a word for London as well, to remind her that she’s lifting her, her children and her entire family in prayer. “Thank you, Nip,” she ended. “Rest in Love.”
Ms. Ventura’s homage comes in light of several others who sent love and prayers to London and Nipsey’s family, including YG, Jill Scott, Tyrese, Ciara, Alicia Keys, T.I. and several more musicians.
