Megan Thee Stallion Announces “Hot Girl Summer” World Tour With Special Guest GloRilla
The wait is finally over.
Three-time Grammy award-winner Megan Thee Stallion has formally announced the “Hot Girl Summer Tour,” with special guest, Grammy-nominated rapper, GloRIlla. The 31-city worldwide tour will be produced by Live Nation and includes shows in the U.S. and across Europe.
The “Hot Girl Summer Tour,” is Megan’s first-ever, headlining tour where she'll put on riveting performances across the globe. Expressing her excitement about the news, Megan took to Instagram to confirm her world tour.
“THEE HOT GIRL SUMMER TOUR IS HERE and I’m bringing my girl GLORILLA WITH ME 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥General Public tickets go on sale this Friday, March 22 at 10 am your local time. Get ready hotties it’s about to be a timeeee 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Can't wait to see y'all,” her post read.
The tour announcement comes after Megan Thee Stallion's latest track “Hiss” which is her first solo number 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100.
The song sparked controversy after Meg allegedly took shots at Nicki Minaj, Tory Lanez, Drake, and Pardison Fontaine
In addition to the tour announcement, Megan will receive Planned Parenthood’s Catalyst for Change Award at its annual gala in New York City on April 16 for being an “extraordinary advocate” for the reproductive rights of women.
Planned Parenthood noted that Megan was chosen to be honored because her music and performances have shined a light on women’s empowerment, mental health, and social justice.
“An outspoken advocate for women’s rights and Planned Parenthood, Megan has used her global platform to draw attention to the organization’s mission and work,” the statement read. “She also launched The Pete and Thomas Foundation, a nonprofit organization focused on uplifting and assisting women, children, senior citizens, and underserved communities in Houston, Texas, and across the world.”
