Joe Budden Reacts to iLoveMakonnen Coming Out as Gay

He got his two cents in.

Joe Budden, much like 50 Cent, is one of those rappers where we can count on to always offer his two cents on various matters, even if his opinion is unpopular or his commentary is in arguably poor taste.

In the wee hours of the morning today (Jan. 20), Atlanta rapper iLoveMakonnen took to Twitter to reveal the personal news that he is gay, and Budden, of course, shared his reaction.

In his announcement sharing the sensitive news, Makonnen addressed rumors and speculation regarding his sexual orientation, sharing that it's not news to him even if it may be news to others.

“As a fashion icon, I can't tell u about everybody else's closet, I can only tell u about mine, and it's time I've come out,” he posted. “And since y'all love breaking news, here's some old news to break: I'm gay. And now I've told u about my life, maybe u can go [live] yours.”

Following his tweet going live, it rapidly became retweeted and liked, with many coming forward to support his decision to come out to his fans.

Budden, however, wasn't particularly amused or shocked by the revelation, writing, "Makonnen the only person that didn’t know he was out the closet."

Take a look at his reaction in the post below.
