Lil Wayne's U.K. Visa Application Rejected
Lil Wayne won't be performing in the United Kingdom anytime soon. According to NME.com, British immigration officials rejected his application for a Visa because of his recent criminal history.
Weezy had planned to tour Europe to promote the upcoming release of his Tha Carter IV album, which is scheduled to drop on May 16. But the Young Money rapper is being forced to cancel his U.K. appearances due to this recent rejection, along with a show that was already scheduled to take place in Cork, Ireland, at the Marquee.
Back on November 4, Lil Wayne was released from a New York prison after serving eight months on a gun charge.
Wayne is just the most recent rapper to get the cold shoulder from the Brits' visa office. In 2006 Snoop Dogg was denied entry into the country following a brawl involving his entourage at Heathrow Airport.
