Cheryl Lynn Denies Sending Anita Baker Angry Tweets
That wasn’t Cheryl Lynn sending angry tweets to Anita Baker last week, she doesn’t even have a Twitter account, says her manager. Speaking to Hip Hop Wired, Thurlene Johnson confirmed that Lynn didn’t send tweets to Baker about being blocked on social media.
“Anyone who personally knows Cheryl would know that interaction is the complete opposite of her character,” Johnson said. “Not only do the outlandish outbursts reflect poorly on Cheryl, the misspellings in tweets do as well.”
Johnson asserts that Lynn and Baker may have “chatted briefly backstage in their heyday,” but they don’t really know each other. “As far as a relationship that would warrant that type of response being blocked, it just simply isn’t true.”
The “Got to Be Real” singer has had issues with the faux account before, the manager said. As of today, the Twitter page has been closed.
