Now that the heavily publicized sexual assault case against Bill Cosby is over, concluding in a mistrial, the former TV dad's attorney Angela Agrusa is reflecting on the events with The Hollywood Reporter, and is revealing some personal sentiments in the process.

Agrusa, who is now back home in Los Angeles, revealed to the publication that there were times during the trial where, upon hearing the juror questions, she was "absolutely convinced" that the verdict would not go in her client's favor.

"We wanted an acquittal, but a mistrial or a deadlock is the same result as the group of jurors finding him not guilty," she said. "Prosecutors didn't have the evidence."

Delving more into what influenced the jury vote, Agrusa explained that, like everyone else, she had no idea what the breakdown was. THR reports that Judge Steven O'Neill, per instructions highlighted in the Pennsylvania guidelines, told jurors not to discuss what happened during their lengthy deliberations. While each juror is allowed to talk publicly about his/her own conclusions, none of them are allowed to reveal any of their fellow jurors' respective decisions or sidings.

Agrusa revealed that she has an inkling of what might have taken place among the jury, though.

"I heard it was a split," she said. "I don't believe it was a single holdout."

However, a spokesperson for the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office responded to these claims, saying that there is no possible way she could know this.
