Terrence Howard Goes on Strange Twitter Rant About Domestic Violence 'Double Standard'

The "Empire" star says it's actually the other way around.

Terrence Howard has faced many accusations of physical and emotional abuse by his past partners. His ex-wives, Lori McCommas and Michelle Ghent, are among his alleged victims, with Ghent recently dropping a 2015 suit that claimed the Empire actor subjected her to assault and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Similarly, reports surfaced of a 2001 incident where Howard was arrested on suspicion of assaulting McCommas.

Over the weekend, however, Howard when on an epic Twitter rant against the "double standard" men face when it comes to "abusive women."

Howard went on an epic rant Saturday morning about the “double standard” society has toward “abusive women” who “feel that they can assault a man and not reap where they have sowed.”
“I’ve never been abusive to anyone in my entire life. I have loved and paid the price for love. I am the same loving being since day 1!” he tweeted. “When I say that I’ve made mistakes, it is not regarding violence but judgment. Trusting the wrong people!” Howard went on for several more tweets before finishing his rant with the following statement: “Having an altercation is very different than abuse … and for the record I never punched her in the face get the facts straight.”

It's not clear what caused the tweetstorm from Howard, but take a look at the entire rant, below:
