LOL: Chance The Rapper Wants To Go To An HBCU And These Two Schools Are Fighting Over Him

Chance the Rapper may become "Chance the Student" soon enough.

Chance the Rapper may be looking to swap the “rapper” out for “student.” The Chicago native recently took to Twitter to seek help in registering for a historically Black college, and it turns out Chano has a number of schools interested in adding him to their freshman class.

The 23-year-old revealed that his top choice for higher education is Clark Atlanta University. “I was tryna go to Clark ATL. I’m still tryna go. Like not honorary, full blown ya dig. Can someone help me sign up,” he asked his followers.

His request soon nabbed the attention of not only Clark, but a number of other ATL schools, including Morehouse College, which ignited a little war over Chano. “The AUC is a great place to be. Morehouse is an even better House to call home! Welcome home my brother. We would love to have you in ATL,” Morehouse’s official Twitter account read.

But CAU wasn’t ready to give up on their prospective student just yet. In addition to offering up its services to get Chance registered for school, the college also hit back against Morehouse. “He said #CAU. Stop the madness,” The HBCU’s Twitter account wrote.

It’s a little unclear of what Chance’s final decision will be, but it’s good to know he has options. Wherever he decides, there’s no doubt Chance will be top in his class. Fans will just have to wait for his official announcement.
