Rap superstar Cardi B. is shining light on another side of her rich and famous lifestyle.
On Tuesday, April 11, the “Bodak Yellow” emcee took to her TikTok, where she shared a new post giving fans a glimpse into her day-to-day life not as the award-winning entertainer but as Belcalis Almanzar.
In the new snippet, the Bronx native revealed, “My fans have been wanting me to do more TikToks, so here I am — I’m gonna give you what a regular day is in my life as a regular person.”
When she’s not on tour or getting ready for a massive performance, the “Money” emcee’s routine usually entails her attempting to get ready without interference from her two small children because “once they notice I’m up, they won’t leave me alone.”
Fans got to watch as Cardi got breakfast ready—a task usually done by members of her staff who are currently on holiday. She later took Kulture to the gym while her son remained home with other relatives of her family. The rapper revealed she exercises at least two hours a day. Cardi also addressed critics who often ask her, “Why are you working out? You have a lipo?'”
The seasoned star, who’s always been open about her experience going under the knife, explained that there is something called visceral fat “that surrounds your organs that you cannot lipo. And that’s why sometimes girls with lipo might have a snatched waist with a gut.”
She continued, “And that’s because they’re not working out their visceral fat, they just keep eating and eating… That’s why you gotta work it out.”
After her workout, Cardi spent another hour stretching, telling fans, “My real goal is to be as stretchable and flexible as I was when I was a stripper, but hoo! Can’t build Rome in a day. But can you?”
The clip ends with the “WAP” rapper taking a trip to Target before bringing pizza home for dinner and celebrating the fifth anniversary of her debut album, Invasion of Privacy, with a cake before heading to the studio for a late-night recording session.
