Anthony Mackie should clear some space on his mantle. The actor, who is already having a banner year, will be honored at this year's Chicago International Film Festival with the Artistic Achievement Award at its Black Perspective Tribute.
According to the official press release "the Black Perspectives Committee will celebrate this gifted actor with film highlights from his most memorable performances and a discussion about his career.”

He will join such past honorees as Spike Lee, Forest Whitaker, Ruby Dee, Pam Grier, Sidney Poitier and Morgan Freeman.
