Lil Nas X Joins Forces with Coach to Inspire Youth During Epic Styling Session
Lil Nas X takes career day to the next level while hoping to empower the next generation of thought provokers with a dose of fashion and confidence.
The "Old Town Road" artist kicked the week off in style on Monday with Coach—whose celebrity roster of ambassadors has included Megan Thee Stallion and Michael B. Jordan—to lend his fashion sense and wisdom to prepare students for the real world as part of the iconic brand's Coach Foundation Dream Day.
Of his exciting opportunity to help deserving students, the star told PEOPLE why this initiative speaks to who he is as an artist and an individual. "I'm really happy to be partnering up with Coach and this program that's helping other people's dreams come true, because I know how it feels for me to be achieving my own dreams'"
The initiative offers participants a day of hands-on training that includes mentorship, networking, and professional development for disenfranchised students around the globe.
The rapper was fully engaged with the students by allowing them the chance of a lifetime to get up close and personal with him on his musical journey while navigating being a pop star.
The highlight of the event was fashion and photography. X had fun as the stylist for the day, in which he handpicked items from the brand for each student that reflected their personalities. He also played creative director while the students got professional headshots taken.
The artist joined the Coach family as a brand ambassador earlier this year during New York Fashion Week, when he had a show-stopping performance at the brand's Spring 2023 show.
