Paris Jackson Hits Back At 50 Cent's Claim That Chris Brown Is Superior To Her Father, Michael Jackson
50 Cent recently declared Chris Brown a better performer than the late Michael Jackson — and the King of Pop's daughter, Paris, isn't here for the comparison.
The Power executive producer and rapper sparked the debate last weekend after sharing a screenshot of a tweet which detailed Breezy's commercial success in the United States. In the supporting caption to the now-deleted post, Fiddy boldly declared, "CB better than MJ to me now."
As expected, his take was followed by tons of backlash. However, in true 50 Cent style, he refused to back down, and instead chose to reiterate his stance on Thursday (Sept. 5) by posting a video of Brown doing back flips during a live show.
"All I'm saying is I never seen MJ come out like this," he wrote.
After seeing his words, MJ's daughter, Paris Jackson, took to the comments section to defend her legendary father's legacy as the forever King of Pop, citing his performance at the 1993 Super Bowl Halftime Show. In her clapback, the 21-year-old claimed that "true legends" don't need tricks to captivate an audience.
"Superbowl 1993. True legends don't need to exert outrageous amounts of energy just to grasp your attention," she wrote. "Stillness, my friend. Stillness. More power in stillness than you can probably understand."
She followed up by stressing that she has no beef with Brown, who has consistently said that he is a student of Jackson's and cites him as his No. 1 source of inspiration.
"And I say this with zero shade to Chris [Brown]," she added. "I love him dearly. This is just for you, 50."
Take a look at the exchange, below:
Would 50 dare get in a social media war with the scion of the King of Pop? If he does, he might have met his match.
