Grammy Awards 2024: SZA Wins Best R&B Song For 'Snooze'

“I’m not an attractive crier,” said the singer while accepting the honor.

For those sleeping on SZA, it’s time to wake up because sis just got the gold.

During the Grammy Awards on Sunday night in Downtown Los Angeles at the Crypto.com Arena, the nine-time nominee took home honors in the Best R&B Song category for “Snooze.” But after beating the competition, the star had other plans.

SZA said it took her some time to walk on stage to accept the award because of two reasons: she was doing an outfit change and then decided to take a shot.

We know that’s right!

While finally accepting her award, she reflected on her journey as a singer and explained how she never thought a moment like this was possible. While becoming emotional, she cut her speech short because she is “not an attractive cryer.”

It’s moments like this one that make us love our sis so much. Her Black Girl Magic is unparalleled. She’s got the sauce, and sis stays bringing the heat in the studio with lyrics that have the power to make you fall in love, out of love, even if you’re single.

Tonight, she also won Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Ghost in the Machine,” and Best Urban Contemporary Album for “SOS.”
