After what she calls a frustrating week in a Chicago court seeking financial support from ex-husband Dwyane Wade, Siohvaughn Funches-Wade took to the streets in protest, holding a sign that read: "NBA Miami Heat Star Mother Of His Children On The Streets."

The former couple, who hails from Chicago, divorced in 2010 and fought a public battle that resulted in the Miami Heat baller gaining custody of their two sons, Zion and Zaire, a year later. This week in court saw the former Mrs. Wade attempt to fire her 12th attorney, and Circuit Court Judge Thomas Carr had her arrested for being late to court. Emotionally exhausted, she exited the courthouse on Friday with her mother and her sister, and took up residence on the sidewalk outside the Daley Center.

"Dwyane Wade is offering to pay only some of what he owes me if I sign an agreement never again to discuss what happened in our marriage or with our children. I refuse," she said, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. "I finally told Carr I just wanted to end the case and keep my freedom and my voice. I told him I didn’t want anything from Dwyane. The judge demanded the trial continue. I couldn't believe it."

Earlier this week, Wade's attorney, James B. Pritikin, said of his client, "His position is that she has issues, and she needs to deal with those issues."

Wade is currently dating actress Gabrielle Union, Funches-Wade has repeatedly protested that the relationship has a negative impact on their children.
