Jaleel White Gets in Massive Fight with DWTS Partner

Later, the child star breaks into tears during taping.

Jaleel White had a Carl Winslow-level tantrum during rehearsal for Dancing with the Stars, Us Weekly reports. The former child actor, most famous for portraying Steve Urkel on Family Matters, found himself in a "heated" confrontation with his partner Kym Johnson on Friday, and wound up banned from rehearsal for the rest of the day.
The 35-year-old allegedly "flipped out," the insider says, after he accidentally stepped on Johnson's foot. When she said "ouch," the insider says, White "got in her face," and yelled at her for "acting like a baby . . . He was shouting at her, calling her an 'idiot.'"
Johnson then left the studio in tears, while fellow celeb competitor Donald Driver and show producers tried to calm White down. He then "started going off on the producers and shouting about how they put him with a 'stupid' partner."
Pro dancer Mark Ballas then tried to confront White, but the actor retaliated with: "'You remind me of that annoying sitcom neighbor who gets into everyone's business!'"
Producers then banished White from the studio for the rest of the day. "Now he says he refuses to go back to the rehearsal studio again, that he wants his own rehearsal space elsewhere," the source continues. "It was a huge fiasco that went down. A total mess."
Yowza.
Believe it or not, the scene got stranger during Monday's episode of DWTS, when White broke down in tears during a segment in which the celeb competitors were asked to recall the single most defining moment in their lives.
"Playing Stefan Urquelle was life-changing for me," White said to the cameras, referring to Steve Urkel's smooth, confident alter-ego on Family Matters. "It introduced a new side to me. After I played that character, people started treating me differently. When I played Stefan Urquelle, I showed people there was more to me to offer."
After scoring praise from the judges for his rumba to Babyface's "For the Cool in You," White couldn't hold in his emotions any longer. "I love entertaining people," he said through sobs. "And I have been since I was three. I just wanted to complete this week."
Thankfully, the tension between White and Johnson seemed to be resolved by the time they hit the dance floor. "Kim has been strong for me all week," he said through tears as Johnson patted him on the back.

White has been in the tabloids for all the wrong reasons this week, so hopefully moving forward he'll save the theatrics for his performances.
