New Music Monday: Lil Yachty, Chlöe, Cordae Start Your Week With A Fresh Batch Of New Tunes
It’s hard keeping up with all the new music released each week. Just when you’ve fallen in love with a certain song, album, or artist, something else drops. It’s a fun time to be a music fan, sure, but also tricky.
Rest easy though, as BET has you covered with our weekly New Music Mondays post, featuring some of the latest artists, sounds, and trends in hip-hop, r&b, Afrobeat, house and more. We present an eclectic mix of established
You'll find a familiar (and not-so-familiar) array of artists and emerging music. So, without further ado, here are ten new records that you should kick off your week with — led by Lil Yachty, Cordae and Anderson .Paak, and Chlöe.
Lil Yachty: “sAy sOMETHINg”
Lil Yachty released his new album Let’s Start Here on Friday (January 27) and one of the standouts is “sAy sOMETHINg”. The entire album is a psychedelic alternative shift for the Atlanta rapper and unexpected from even his most fervent fans.
Cordae & Anderson .Paak: “Two Tens”
Cordae and Anderson .Paak linked up for their latest collaboration "Two Tens" last week. Produced by J. Cole, the song has the two trading bars over a jazzy loop and definitely something familiar to what they've previously worked on together.
Chlöe: “Pray It Away”
"Pray It Away" is slated to appear on Chlöe's upcoming album In Pieces and features the singer turning to church to get rid of the pain from dealing with the wrong man. The accompanying video relays the singer's intentions while praying and performing a liturgical dance in a church.

Grammy-winning singer Daniel Caesar is looking to make 2023 a big year for himself and started it, in-part, by releasing "Do You Like Me?" Caesar announced the release on social media last week by sharing a clip of the song's official video, which is above.
Styles P: “Porsche Lights”
Styles P released his latest album Penultimate: A Calm Wolf Is Still A Wolf on Friday. One of the standouts on the project is “Porsche Lights”, which is one of four produced by Vinny Idol. Check it out above.
