BET Awards 2024: 7 Unforgettable Musical Collaborations Featuring Drake

The rap star garnered seven nominations during the 'BET Awards' 2023, winning two.

Grammy Award-winning rap star Drake was among the top winners during the BET Awards 2023. The Tronto native took home two awards for his musical contributions, including Best Group alongside Atlanta native 21 Savage and “Best Collaboration” for his part on Future’s single “Wait For U” featuring vocals by Tems.  

This year, the BET Awards  2024 is expected to be filled with many celebrity appearances and performances from some of music’s biggest artists of the BET Experience 2024, Presented by Walmart. This event-packed week promises live performances, comedy shows, thought-provoking panels, and hands-on workshops that will immerse attendees in the heart of the cultural revolution.

  • “One Dance” Featuring WizKid and Kyla

    Drake tapped Nigerian native WizKid and singer Kyla Reid for the 2016 dancehall and afro beats-inspired classic “One Dance” from the emcee’s fourth studio album Views. 

  • Chris Brown - “No Guidance”

    Following an alleged longstanding feud, Chris Brown and Drake reunited for “No Guidance” from the R&B crooner’s 2019 project, Indigo. 

  • Rihanna - “Work”

    Longtime collaborators Drake and Rihanna teamed up for the 2016 smash single “Work” from the Barbadian singer’s eighth studio album Anti. 

  • “Jimmy Cooks” Featuring 21 Savage

    Drake surprised fans in 2021 with the unexpected release of his seventh studio album, Honestly, Nevermind. The 14-track project featured several standout records, including “Jimmy Cooks,” featuring 21 Savage as the sole guest artist.

  • BlocBoy JB - “Look Alive”

    The “Sticky” rapper is known for elevating almost any song he appears on, and the same can be said for his appearance on BlocBoy JB’s 2018 hit single, “Look Alive.” The Tay Keith-produced song peaked at number five on the US Billboard Hot 100, earning BlocBoy his first top 10 single and Drizzy’s 23rd. 

  • “First Person Shooter” Featuring J. Cole

    Drake's track "First Person Shooter," featuring J. Cole quickly climbed to the number one position on the charts, garnering both artists a number one song. However, the track seemingly only intensified a longstanding between the Canadian rapper and West Coast star Kendrick Lamar. 

  • “Slime You Out” Featuring SZA

    Drake and former girlfriend and singer SZA reunited for this 2023 single, “Slime You Out,” from the rapper’s highly anticipated eighth studio album, “For All the Dogs.” The dark, r&b-inspired track features productions from several producers, including BNYX and longtime collaborators 40 and D10
