Wendy Williams Goes On Bizarre Rant Against Meghan Markle, Promptly Gets Dragged By Twitter

Really, Wendy?

Wendy Williams has been on a roll lately with her opinionated commentary on several public figures' lives and actions, with the latest victim being recently engaged actress Meghan Markle.

Get more on Meghan and Prince Harry's engagement with BET Breaks, above.

During the "Hot Topics" segment of a recent episode of her talk show, the gossip queen dished on the former Suits actress' engagement to Prince Harry before going on a tangent, questioning her intentions and calling her "come-up" opportunistic.

"Confidentially speaking, I respect Meghan Markle's hustle, and I respect her game," she said. "However, she's a bit of a wild card."

She then reminded her "co-hosts" about Markle's former gig as a model on a popular game show in an attempt to prove her point.

"You know, because she goes from being the Deal Or No Deal girl — oh, yes! She opened the suitcases for, what's his name? Howie Mandel," she continued. "So, this is a girl looking for fame, you guys, OK?"

She didn't stop there. The talk show maven went on to remind viewers and her audience of a time when Markle came to the studios of her talk show.

"And remember the story, here at Wendy. She came here, to Wendy, to find out what she could do here," she said. "So she's been here. She's been in our buildings; We have her DNA... And then she's the actress, you know, from Suits, and she's giving it up. But just keep in mind, she's an act-ress."

To the gripe of many, Williams then proceeded to compare Markle to Kate Middleton, who is married to Prince William.

Things just went downhill from there.
