Judging by the title, Ma$e may have a score to settle on his new album. The former Bad Boy star revealed Now We Even as the name of the project via Twitter Friday (Oct. 18), writing that his latest could be inspired by the past. "Right now I'm listening to all my early freestyles & songs," he tweeted. "This got to be something special. A couple free shows & visits #NOWWEEVEN.
"I'm listening also to Life after Death, All Eyes On Me and Reasonable Doubt," Ma$e added. "Just so u know what I'm thinking."
Guest appearances will include 2 Chainz, pop newbie Ariana Grande and Diddy, provided that he doesn't "get saved and leave music," the former preacher joked.
Ma$e was one of Bad Boy's biggest acts until he retired to pursue a "calling from God," he announced during a Hot 97 interview with Funkmaster Flex in 1999. His last album was in 2004, Welcome Back, which was released after his five-year hiatus from music.
The new project is still in the early stages with no announced release date.
