The Boy Next Door Stars on Bringing Diversity to Hollywood
Jennifer Lopez has built her career on breaking barriers and she's not stopping when it comes to her new film The Boy Next Door. The multi-hyphenate talent talks to us about taking the bold chance of making a mainstream film with two Latino leads — herself and Ryan Guzman — and how, in the end, "it doesn't even matter."
"You don't even think about it," Lopez asserts. "Of course I'm happy that this film has two Latino leads, but Ryan was the best person for the part because of his charisma and his acting skills."
We also talk to Guzman, who had the unique privilege of sharing the screen with Lopez in the steamiest love scene of her career, about his celebrity crush, working with Lopez and resisting the advice of his agents to change his name before launching his career in Hollywood.
