New Evidence In Moses J. Moseley’s Death Points To Possible Foul Play
The tragic death of The Walking Dead actor Moses J. Moseley was initially being investigated as death by suicide, but new evidence may suggest otherwise, including possible foul play.
According to TMZ, the progression of the ongoing investigation has led to other considerations.
Moseley was found dead in his vehicle on January 26.
“During the preliminary investigation, the potential of the death being a suicide was considered while not ruling out any other possibilities,” said Captain Randy Lee of the Stockbridge, GA police department. “As investigators progressed their investigation and more evidence was processed, reviewed and analyzed, other possibilities have presented themselves including accidental."
TMZ also spoke with an unidentified family member of the late 31-year-old, who said the new developments looks at the way in which the bullet entered Moseley’s skull and the grip on the gun; neither necessarily points at a death by suicide.
The family member says the bullet entered below his eye and never exited his skull. People who usually shoot themselves usually aim either at the temple or mouth. A “loose” grip on the gun was held by Moseley, further suggesting some had put the firearm in his hand.
Moseley’s sister, Teerea Kimbro, suspected that her brother had been kidnapped and then murdered days later.
The investigation continues.
