Heads turned last week when a beaming Jessica White hit the red carpet at the NYC launch party for Beyoncé's Pulse fragrance sporting a huge rock on her ring finger. The supermodel confirmed that she is engaged but wouldn't unveil the lucky man's identity, saying that she wanted to keep her relationship private. But naturally, we found out anyway.

NYPost had the scoop, revealing that Jessica White is engaged to British-born Wall Street banker Bruce DeWitt. “They’ve known each other for a while, but have kept things very low-key. They got engaged last week and want to get married as soon as possible. Jessica is really happy,” a source close to the couple said. The move surprised many of White's friends, who didn't even know the two were dating. But the engagement's for real: The Sports Illustrated jaw-dropper, who's dated Sean Penn and Terrell Owens in the past, was seen wedding-dress shopping yesterday at Vera Wang in New York, and the happy couple had an engagement dinner with close friends at Co-Op last night.

But what's with all the secrecy about the big news? “Her past relationships have suffered from being so public, so she wanted to protect this one,” the source said. Good luck with that!
