Watch Chris Paul, DeAndre Jordan Bring Lob City to San Antonio
"Lob City" was created in Los Angeles...but it can go down anywhere.
With the Los Angeles Clippers facing elimination in Game 6 of their first-round series on Thursday night, Chris Paul picked Tim Duncan's pockets and found DeAndre Jordan for a little "Lob City" action in San Antonio.
CP3 came up big overall with 19 points and 15 assists — no dime being more thrilling than this thunderous alley-oop hook-up with DJ. Blake Griffin had 26 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Clippers to a 102-96 win over the Spurs to force Game 7, which will be played Saturday night in LA.
While this Clippers-Spurs series has been closely-contested overall, the Chicago Bulls ended the Milwaukee Bucks' season on an emphatic note Thursday night, destroying them 120-66. No typo. The 54-point loss nearly marked the most lopsided loss in playoff history. Jimmy Butler had 16 points for the Bulls.
Chicago will now open its second-round series against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday.
