Bruno Mars and Anderson.Paak, better known as Silk Sonic, have been heating up the music charts ever since they debuted their Grammy-nominated single “Leave the Door Open,” and their performances at the 2021 Soul Train Awards only turned up the hotness on the discussion surrounding their newly created musical ensemble.

Silk Sonic opened up this year’s show with an energetic performance of “Fly As Me” off their debut album, An Evening with Silk Sonic, as they paid tribute to the iconic Soul Train on a stage set that was ripped straight from the legendary series. 

Later that night, they took home two awards for “Song of the Year” and "Video of the Year" for their first-ever song “Leave the Door Open". Following a night of big wins and even bigger performances,  Silk Sonic returned to the stage and closed the show with a sizzling performance of their viral sensation “Smoking Out the Window.” Be sure to check out both performances.
