Adele Says She's Ready to Have a Child With Boyfriend Rich Paul
Adele is ready to take her relationship with her man to the next level.
While performing during her Las Vegas residency last week, the "Hello" hitmaker made a candid confession to the audience on her plans for the future with her beau of three years, as the Daily Mail reported.
“Once I am done with all my obligations and all of my shows, I want to have a baby,” the outlet cited the Grammy winner saying.
“I want a girl because I’ve already got a boy. I feel like she might be like the person I love the most in the world, but also probably hate the most in the world. That is what I feel will happen. She’s going to put me in my place all the time, isn’t she?”
“With me as her mother and Rich as her father, she’s going to be a bossy little queen, isn’t she?” she joked.
Last year, the mom of one to 11-year-old son Angelo –whom she shares with her ex-husband Simon Konecki– said she was “ready to be a mom again soon."
“I really want to be a mom again soon,” Adele said during her residency show at the time. “I’ve actually been writing lists. “So every time I see a name that I like, I write it down in my phone.”
In 2021, the power sports agent and the singer began dating. Paul is also dad to daughter Reonna Simone, whom Adele gave a shoutout to during her show last week.
“It is my stepdaughter’s graduation this weekend,” she told the crowd, adding that Reonna graduated from Clark Atlanta University. “So, I love you, darling.”
In October 2023, the couple was rumored to be married, but when asked about their status, Paul played coy.
While appearing on "CBS Mornings," Paul told the outlet their two-year relationship "had been great."
“I think she would agree that we definitely helped each other,” he said. “We’re in a good space. Happy,” he continued. “She’s superb.”
“We’ve been great for each other,” Paul said, noting that he would not reveal details of their relationship because he’s “not the type of person.”
Paul also was not shy about explaining why they have chosen to keep intimate details of their life private. “It’s not for the media. It’s not for paparazzi. It’s for us.”
Gayle King pried a little more, then pressed the sports agent about rumors if they had tied the knot. “When I see her, should I say ‘Hi, Mrs. Paul?’” she asked. “You can say whatever you want,” he responded with a laugh.
