Pride Month!: Here's How Some Of Your Favorite Stars Are Celebrating With Rainbow Looks And Powerful Messages
Bring on the rainbow, bring on the pride! What once started as "Gay Pride Day"— in honor of the Stonewall Inn uprising in 1969— fastly grew into Pride Month (widely celebrated in the month of June).
This month, celebrities and brands are going all out to bring awareness to the simple fact that #LoveIsLove.
From rainbow-colored fashions to fabulous celebrations, we are seriously impressed with how members of the LGBTQ+ community (and allies) are spreading the love and taking a stand against the inequalities faced by the LGBTQIA+ community on the daily. Niecy Nash & Jessica Betts
Niecy Nash got a little emotional while celebrating her first Pride Month in the arms of her wife Jessica Betts. “Wishing the greatest love of my life a happy Pride Month,” she shared in the video, adding, “These are definitely tears of joy.”
Lil Nas X
Lil Nas X showed off major style in the #UGGPride Campaign. This month, the famous brand launched a limited-edition collection of all-gender footwear and apparel designed with Pride-inspired colors in mind.
For each pair of Disco Stripes Slides ($110) sold, UGG will donate $25 to GLAAD, a non-profit helping to monitor and advance the acceptance of LGBTQIA2S+ folks.

Laverne Cox exuded pride as she headed to a gig and sent big energy to all the actresses of Pose. "I am loving the Emmy buzz around MJ Rodriguez and all the incredible trans actors on Pose," she shared via an Instagram video.
"I'm putting out in the universe multiple nominees for the trans talent for this last season of Pose. I'm sending that out into the universe. All the Emmy voters who are watching, show love. Show love, there's such beautiful work being done over there. We should acknowledge it at the Emmys this year."
