Trump Slammed for Defending Bill O'Reilly During Sexual Assault Awareness Month as Advertisers Dump the Fox News Host
"I don't think Bill did anything wrong." — The man who said "When you're a star they let you do it."
Although the resurfaced sexual harassment allegations against Bill O’Reilly have resulted in a dramatic loss of advertisers, the Fox News host has one person in his corner: President Trump.
The longtime friends not only share extreme and controversial ideals, but the two also have sexual harassment scandals in common. Perhaps that is why President Trump offered words of support on Wednesday.
While in the Oval Office, Trump referred to O’Reilly as a “good person.”
“Personally, I think he shouldn’t have settled,” Trump told a New York Times reporter. “Because you should have taken it all the way; I don’t think Bill did anything wrong.”
Trump’s support of O’Reilly comes just five days into his self-proclaimed Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
People on twitter are disgusted but not surprised by Trump's support of O'Reilly
Moreover, no one seems to be down with Trump's proclamation of 'Sexual Assault Awareness Month'
Until President Trump can appropriately advocate and protect victims of Sexual Assault, he needs to have a seat
