Christina Milian and Lil Wayne didn't let a little thing like breaking up come between them. The former couple, who called it quits this past September after nearly a year of dating, still talk, text and make music together, according to the singer.
Milian appeared on Good Day New York to promote her upcoming single, "Do It," a collaboration with Tunechi, and said she and the rapper are still close. “We are no longer together, but we actually still make music together," she explained. "We have chemistry. Let’s just say we will always have chemistry and I’m glad that it shows on camera and that everyone gets to see it. Love never goes away so, right now, we are enjoying our friendship.”
She later hopped over to Meredith Vieira's talk show and reiterated that she and Tunechi are still a big part of each other's lives. “I literally was just texting him a little while ago,” she said. “We are still texting each other, checking up on each other.”
Asked if it was awkward shooting a music video (for "Do It") with an ex, the singer replied, “It wasn’t hard at all because we are still friends. I think we understand that the relationship is just not working for the moment for us and we are both extremely busy and rather try to force it and make something work that’s just not working, we are like let’s just settle and chill out for a second.”
