During the first quarter of the Boston Celtics-Cleveland Cavaliers' game last night, forward Gordon Hayward went up for an alley-oop, bumped bodies with LeBron James and fell awkwardly, fracturing his left tibia and dislocating his left ankle just minutes into his debut with the Celtics.
The horrific, season-ending injury sent a hush over the crowd at Quicken Loans Arena in The Land, with several NBA players taking to their Twitter and Instagram accounts to express their thoughts and prayers to Hayward.
