Terrell Owens: I Can't Afford Child Support

The troubled athlete begs judge to lower his payments.

Another bad day for Terrell Owens. Weeks after an alleged suicide attempt, the football player is now claiming empty pockets to a California judge, asking him to lower his child support payments to his son's mother, Monique Reynolds.

TMZ reports that a rep for T.O. appealed to the judge to make the payments a little more reasonable, adding, "his child support payments should mirror his income today and not be based on his income from over four years ago."

This isn't Owens's first time facing a judge on the issue of child support: In August the former star athlete was sued by the mother of his 5-year-old daughter over a missing payment.

Let's hope football season gives T.O. a chance to replenish his bank accounts — and his confidence.
