Bre Tiesi Chronicles Unmedicated Home Birth With Nick Cannon And Reveals That Their Son Needed Minor Respiratory Support
Nick Cannon welcomed his eighth child with model, Bre Tiesi on June 28th. Yesterday, the couple released footage of the “unmedicated home birth” to chronicle the arrival of their baby boy, Legendary Love. In the YouTube video, you can see the gorgeous nursery as the new mom describes how they plan to induce the birth naturally with pressure points, the secret salad, a massage, and maybe some “sexy time”.
When ET asked her about the chatter surrounding Cannon and his children, Tiesi said, “When it first started happening, I was just like, 'I don't understand why everyone is so concerned. Like, why are you upset about what happens in my household?’” She said, “For me, it doesn't actually genuinely affect me. I understand people's side, and they're used to their conventional relationships. That's what's instilled in us. Whatever you want to call this has been going on for years.”
Through it all, Tiesi reveals that she couldn't have asked for a more amazing and supportive partner. Even when she was in pain waiting for her little prince to arrive, in the video, you can see the Wild ‘N Out star comforting her with hugs and more to make sure she feels supported. "This was the most limit-pushing/painful moment yet completely empowering and beautiful. The intensity of birth takes over your whole body. I swear I was pushing so hard, screaming and crying, I started to break. I started doubting I could do it. I kept saying, 'Why won't he come? Get him out.”
Tiesi shared that baby Legendary had a "long crown" due to having a hand up by his ear during birth. When he didn’t cry initially, the parents were nervous, but once the midwife, Robyn, provided some respiratory support and heard his sweet cry, they deemed it the best sound they had ever heard.
On Instagram, Tiesi wrote, "Daddy showed the f up for us.. I couldn't of done it without you." The model also shared that baby Legendary Love is in the 95th percentile and is perfect.
