Outside of initial reports and brief statements from a rep from Diddy's camp, sources have stated he's "destroyed over the death of his ex." Now, Quincy's father, famed R&B crooner, Al B Sure!, is the first of the immediate family to make a heartbreaking and public tribute to Kim.
Jodeci's timeless 1991 hit, "Forever My Lady," was written by Al as an ode to the mother of his child.
During Al's 2015 Unsung episode, Kim reflected on that loving moment. "I remember they were working on the song and they couldn't come up with the lyrics. I remember Al looked at me and he was like "so you're having my baby..." and naturally, her jaw dropped. Upon their initial meeting, the "Nite and Day" singer-songwriter was in complete awe while she remembered him as being "sweet, genuine, compassionate and that's why [she] fell in love with him."
Al penned a sweet caption, "#ForeverMyLady," paired with a broken heart emoji to honor his former love
