Leomie Anderson, a 23-year-old Victoria's Secret Model, appeared on Good Morning Britain to defend her open letter urging young female fans to not pose in pictures in the underwear. Anderson, who has walked the catwalk in lingerie and often shares social media pictures in very little clothing has been called out for the hypocrisy in her message.

She defended her statements by making a distinction between herself and her young fans. "I am a 23-year-old woman and these children are all under age. They may see my images out there but they need to understand I was asked before hand whether I wanted to take part in the pictures, I knew where it was going and who would see it — there was full consent throughout the process," she said. "Whereas when children send pictures they don't know what will happen and that is where the danger lies."

The two show hosts then raised the question to Anderson: does a lingerie model raising these issues make her a hypocrite?

A woman on Twitter was accusing Anderson of the same thing: "What a hypocrite, she's a role model for young girls some of whom will want to follow her lead," the critic wrote. Still, despite the negativity from a few individuals, Anderson's Instagram comments are full of words of support and agreement from fans who are happy a role model told them, "Saying NO doesn't make you scared or frigid, it makes you smart."

Anderson is known for being an outspoken model, and often posts to your blog and YouTube page to air her views. She often touches on the modeling business from a Black women's point of view. 

So, is Anderson a feminist hero in the making, or a hypocrite who should practice what she preaches? For now, it seems people are grateful for her speaking out. It doesn't seem like this incident will have much of an impact on Anderson voicing her beliefs.
