Looks as though DJ Khaled might be human after all. 

In a recent interview with The New York Times, the rising superstar admitted that he is very quiet around his new boss lady, Beyoncé. So much so that he gets nervous and “kind of” runs away from her.

 "I’m very quiet," he said during the interview. "Every time I’ve ever seen her is when I’m with my brother Jay Z and I just say, 'Hi,' and I look the other way so fast, and I kind of run."

While we don’t blame him, because, well, this IS Beyoncé we are talking about, it’s still amazing to hear how she effortlessly keeps the budding DJ in check.

Khaled is currently opening for Bey’s Formation world tour, where he has been seen hanging out backstage with Hov, his new manager and old-time friend. 

As further exemplified by the wise Khaled himself, knowing your role and keeping quiet when it's appropriate to keep quiet are definitely two new major keys to add to the book.
