Are they or aren't they? Gossip blogs are abuzz today with rumors that Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries, married just two months, are heading for divorce. The New York Post pointed out that Humphries had been moving boxes out of the couple's pad at the Gansevoort Hotel, sans wedding ring, and that he was nowhere to be seen around Kardashian today, her 31st birthday. Humphries has also been dropped by Kardashian's agent.

But TMZ claims to have the inside scoop that the couple are still very much in love, calling reports of a move-out "just another steaming pile of BS." TMZ's sources counter that  Kim and Kris "were simply getting some boxes together for the newlyweds’ big move back to L.A.… together."

That doesn't really explain why Kim is flying solo on her birthday, but surely there's a good reason for that. Here's hoping Kris is planning one hell of a surprise party for his lady.
