Kanye West Abruptly Ends Show After Epic Rant About Beyoncé, Jay Z and Hillary Clinton
Looks like we've officially lost Yeezy to the dark side.
Just one day after defending Donald Trump's presidency and telling Black Americans to "stop focusing on racism," Kanye West hopped back onto the mic at his Saint Pablo tour stop in Sacramento for an epic rant against Beyoncé, Jay Z and Hillary Clinton.
After a promising start to the show — he had brought Kid Cudi onto the stage — Yeezy abruptly stopped performing after three songs to get a few things off of his chest, and then ended the show altogether, leaving thousands of fans reeling.
He started off on Beyoncé, as if addressing her from the stage, he said, “I was hurt because I heard that you said you wouldn’t perform unless you won Video of the Year over me and over ‘Hotline Bling’.”
He continued, “Now don’t go dissing Beyoncé, she’s great. Taylor Swift is great. We are all great people. But sometimes we be playing the politics too much and forget who we are – just to win. F**k winning, f**k looking cool.”
He went on to implore Jay Z to call him and talk to him “like a man,” clearly anticipating the backlash his rant would bring. “I know you got killers. Please don’t sent them at my head,” he said.
Lastly, he fired shots at the Democratic candidate for president. “This Saint Pablo tour is the most relevant [thing] happening,” he said. “If your old ass keeps following old models, you’ll be Hillary Clinton.”
The concert then ended as he announced, “Press, get ready to write your passive aggressive, LeBron [James] racist comments – get ready, the show is over!”
Watch:
With nearly a dozen dates still left on his tour, we doubt this is the last we'll be hearing from Yeezy.
