No luxury tour bus. No huge entourage. T.I. made his exit from an Atlanta halfway house in a simple manner early this morning.

Sources have told TMZ.com that the King of the South was officially a free man when he walked out of the halfway house just after midnight today (September 29). The rapper rode off in a tinted chauffeur-driven SUV.

This brings an end to Tip’s 11-month sentence for probation violation stemming from a November 2010 arrest for drug possession. T.I. spent 10 months of his sentence at Arkansas’ Forrest City Correctional Facility before being transferred to a halfway house.

A few days after arriving at the halfway house the platinum selling artist was sent back to a local federal prison for reportedly taking a ride home on an unauthorized luxury tour bus with reality show producers.

No such drama this time.
