Nas Makes Nice on the Millions He Owed the IRS

He's reportedly paid in full.

Back in 2011, Nas ran into some financial troubles, with reports stating he had been hit with a tax lien totaling no less than $6.46 million.

It was also reported that the IRS filed documents in order to have the rapper's wages collected throughout the past several years, such as through the music publishing organizations BMI and ASCAP, until his debt was paid in full.

According to a new report, Nas has finally made nice on what he owed.

As reported, his back taxes were from the years 2006 to 2010, and now, in 2017, Nas has finally taken care of the remaining debt, making a swift payment of $3.5 million.

Nothing like kicking off a new year taking care of business!

Other rappers also hit with similar financial woes include Rick Ross and Nelly, who both racked up tax debts in the millions. Hopefully those two will take a page from Nas's book and also do what they can to get the IRS off their backs.
