Miami Dolphins Star Tyreek Hill and Keeta Vaccaro Tie the Knot During Bye Week
Miami Dolphins star Tyreek Hill has decided to put a ring on it and recently made it official.
TMZ obtained court documents revealing that the Super Bowl champ and his longtime fiancée, Keeta Vaccaro, tied the knot on Wednesday (Nov. 8) afternoon in Travis County, Texas.
The following day, the South Florida SunSentinel reported that he confirmed the news in the team’s locker room following practice before Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders at Hard Rock Stadium.
“I did get married to my longtime fiancée. It was about time, man. Feel me? So, something that we wanted to do over the bye week, and we did it, went through with it,” the wide receiver said.
The NFLer had originally asked Vaccaro to marry him in 2021.
He told his other half, “I was like, ‘Babe, we’ve been engaged for too long, like, are you ready to tie the knot?’ And it kind of caught her off guard. She didn’t believe me because we’ve been engaged ever since 2021. And it was like, ‘Okay, let’s go do it.’ She was, like, ‘Show me you’re for real.’ And we did it.”
Hill continued, “It feels good, man. I feel like everything that’s been happening to me, man, it’s been for good reason. I’ve been locked in in a different way. Discipline with just my whole entire life.”
The proof is in his stats. Hill is the NFL leader in receiving yards with 1,076, a pace that would put him on track to become the first player in league history to record 2,000 receiving yards in a single season.
“The way I just approach everything, I definitely eliminated a bunch of things, so that’s probably why I’m having some of the success that I’m having this year,” he said.
Although Hill and Smith are legally married, it appears that the wedding ceremony will take place at a later date. “We’re kind of going to do it, kind of just me and her and our family.” He added, “She’s the star of the show, and it’s my job to allow her to do her thing, and I just want to see her smile.”
He also expressed what he wants for himself as he moves into this new chapter of his journey.
“I feel like I’m at a stage in my career now where I’ve got to be more mature with anything I do outside of football.” Hill continued. “Being a father, being a son, being a husband now. I got to stand in that role of being the man that my grandparents raised me to be. I’m loving it.”
