Lauryn Hill, Nas to Headline Rock the Bells
The annual traveling hip hop extravaganza Rock the Bells has returned for 2011, and a couple of 90’s rap stars will be the headlining acts.
Lauryn Hill and Nas lead a gang of music acts as the annual tour kicks off in San Bernardino, CA in August. The iconic emcees will resurrect hits from their timeless classics, with Hill performing The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill and Nas doing Illmatic with special guests AZ, DJ Premiere and producer Pete Rock.
Other rap luminaries attending the stacked festival include, Raekwon and Ghostface Killah, Mobb Deep, Erykah Badu and a resurrected Black Star featuring Mos Def and Talib Kweli. The concert will hit four cities, two on each coast, including New York, Los Angeles, Boston and San Francisco.
